TAMIYA RC JGSDF TYPE 10 Tank with Option kit

This is the newest kit release in the 1/16 R/C tank series. It recreates the Japanese Type 10 Tank, which is also available as a 1/35 scale model kit. The Type 10, of course, is the high-tech modern addition to the Japan Ground Self Defence Force (JGSDF), and comes loaded with state-of-the-art features such as a newly-designed 120mm smooth-bore main gun, and modular armour. It was built to a relatively small and lightweight design for suitability of use in the mountainous Japanese archipelago, and offers excellent speed and manoeuvrability. Perhaps most importantly, it was also designed to be compatible with the modern C4l communications network system. Deployment started in 2012 and continues apace as the Type 10 looks set to be a key element of Japanese ground defence armour.

This is a 1/16 scale R/C model assembly kit.
• The modern form of the Type 10 is recreated expertly.
• The chassis is powered by a pre-assembled gearbox with Type 380 motors and features metal parts such as
the hull, suspension arms, drive sprockets and more, for excellent durability.
• The metal gun barrel features a realistic range of traverse and elevation/depression movement.
• Included MD Control Unit T-08 allows control of various movements of the tank via separately sold transmitter. These include turret rojation, plus metal gun barrel traverse, elevation/depression, and recoil.
• MD Multi Function Unit MF-06 provides a range of realistic sound and light effects paired with movement. The included speaker offers highly realistic sounds.
• Compatible with the Battle System (Item 53447) for fun and interactive battles with friends!
• Requires a 4-channel transmitter with self-neutral function, battery pack and transmitter batteries
