The BR24 was designed for passenger service by the German State Railway. A total of 95 locomotives in the BR24 series were manufactured between 1926 and 1938. As its nickname "Steppen pferde" suggests, The BR24 played an important role in various branch lines.
This beautiful BR24 is now available as a fully machined kit. No longer is it necessary to possess an expensively equipped workshop and to spend years
building a steam locomotive - only a few simple hand tools are needed to produce a superb working model.
